The N.S.S. has been included in this college since May, 1980 to promote national consciousness and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility, discipline and dignity of labour among students.

AIM OF N:S.S :
Personality Development of Volunteers through Community Service.

Objectives :
i. To understand the Community in which the Volunteers work
ii. To understand oneself in relation to the community
iii, To identify the needs and problems of the Community and involve in problem solving process.
iv, To Develop among the Volunteers a sense of civic and social responsibility.
v. To gain skill in mobilizing Community Participation.
vi. To acquire leadership qualities and democratic temper.
vii. To Develop capacity to meet emergency situations.
viii. To practice National Integration and Social harmony.

The College Level N,S.S Advisory Committee shall comprise of the following:
* Chair Person- Principal.
* Members Secretary- Programme Officer.
* Member- Senior Teaching Faculty Members/ Ex -N.S.S Programme officer.
* Member- Two N,S.S Volunteers .
* Member- Representative of Dev. Dept(BDO/ Tahasildar).
* Member- Representative from adopted village.
* Member-Two N.S.S group leaders.
